TRANSIT INFORMATION
Passengers connecting to international flights should proceed directly
to the transit area for check-in. For domestic flights, passengers
must clear Immigration and Customs.
TOURIST VISAS
A visa is necessary for entry into Bangladesh. A tourist is requested
to obtain necessary entry visa before travelling Bangladesh. For

CUSTOMS
Tourists can bring in personal effects free of duty, along with
up to 200 cigarettes and one liter of alcohol.
CURRENCY
Tourists may bring any amount of foreign exchange in the form of
travellers' checks, foreign currency notes, or other foreign currency
instruments provided a written declaration is made on the currency
declaration form at the time of entry. Forms are available from
customs at the airport. No declaration is required for amounts up
to US$ 5,000. When leaving Bangladesh tourists may reconvert the
entire unspent amount of foreign exchange encashed.
