Traveling with Infants and Children
Travelling is a wonderful experience to share with your child. A little planning when travelling with infants and children can make your flight a more enjoyable experience for you and your family. Parents with babies and children under five years old Pre-boarding is always at the discretion of our airport staff, and is designed to give passengers who may need a little extra time to board an opportunity to do so. So if you need assistance in any way, please do let us know at check in and at the departure gate.
Bassinets
These are provided on a first come first served basis. Specially-designed cots have been installed for babies on board. These cots fix to the wall at the front of the cabin at a comfortable level for parents to attend to their babies. These fold away for storage when not required. The bassinet was not only built with comfort in mind but also with safety as utmost priority.
Meals / Amenities
Special children's meals are available on all flights International flights. Diapers and baby wipes are also available on board. Selected children giveaways are also available on Biman flights.
To avoid inconvenience, parents / guardians are requested to inform the local Biman office at the time of booking if it is for an Unaccompanied Minor / Young Passenger.
